12th Anniversary Celebration

WHAT:  12th Anniversary Celebration
WHEN:  July 6, 2019 6pm-8pm

It is amazing how fast 12 years have flown by. We will have refreshments and entertainment and it will be great seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

ARTIST: Tony Krysinsky

Tony Krysinsky is originally from New York, raised on Long Island where he began drawing and painting as a child, and never stopped. Drawn to the coast, even as a youngster, He started surfing at 13 and by the age of 18 those New York winters were too long and too cold. Florida has been his home ever since. Tony did his undergraduate work in Florida where he received his BA in fine arts and then moved to New Orleans where he got his MFA from Tulane University. The sights and sounds of the "Big Easy" would become a lasting influence in his work. Music in general has definitely been a big part of his life. Playing and singing in R&R and R&B bands while he still continued to work on his visual art. These days Tony makes his home, his art and his music in Perdido, on Florida's Gulf coast. Where he still finds time to surf and stand-up paddle board with his family. Stop by to see Tony's original works of art at Artworks Studio & Gallery at your earliest convenience.

ARTIST: Wanda Hubbard

ARTIST: Wanda Hubbard

Wanda Hubbard, was born in Birmingham Alabama and is a self-taught artist. She enjoys painting using vivid colors, studying the techniques used by other artists and experimenting with varying techniques/styles.

She began painting in the late 70's with watercolors; botanical themes being her favorite. As an inexperienced painter she was drawn towards watercolors because painting with watercolors is relaxing and forgiving. In the early 90's she began working with oils.

Wanda's work, spanning over forty years, has included various mediums (watercolor, acrylic, oil, ink and resin) but one thing has stayed the same. From the first watercolor to her work today with alcohol inks, her love of brilliant colors continues.
